9 WORDS WOMEN USE

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are
right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an
hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five
more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means
something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing
usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal
statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are
an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and
arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of
nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman
can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard
before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just
say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true,
unless she says "Thanks a lot" - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not
thanking you at all. DO NOT say "you're welcome" ... that will bring on a
"whatever").

(8) Whatever: Is a women's way of saying ____ YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement,
meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times,
but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking
"What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer to # 3.

Sleepy times

I am sleepy. Not sure why I am blogging. I have nothing to say right now. I guess I just have a need to say just that...I have nothing to say.

And there you have it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Ya know, I never was overly trilled with St. Patricks Day, but upon pondering it, it is really quite an ideal holiday. No romance involved and no gifts. The celebrations include theree of my favorite things - potatoes, Guinness and the color green. Now if they could just get it to be a holiday.

I was also reading about the Aptera car that is set to get 340 mpg. That is amazing, but I wonder, would it fit my lifestyle? It says the backseat can fit a baby, but to what size? And does that include your car seat? And how easy would they be to get in? And could I fit anything else? It says without the kid you can get 15 bags of groceries, and a baby isn't the size of 15 bags! I guess for all the money and impact you would be saving you could put up with it if it wasn't the most convenient. It is pretty cool looking though.

Horton Hears A What?

Well, today was Baby K's first movie! We went to see "Horton Hears A Who." At 20 months I was unsure if he would sit through it, but he did. He loved the movie and loved laughing with all the other kids. It helped it got to be close to bed time and he was a bit sleepy.

It was a much better ending to a week that saw him peeing on my filing cabinet, dumping a phone in coffee and me walking in to wake him up one day when he pops his cute little head above the crib and says "Where da diapa go?" Oh yeah, you know it's gonna be a great morning after that...

Man I wish I were little and cute. I could get away with everything!

Biker Babe

Well, I can now say I went to my first Bike Week in Daytona. Well, not the whole week, but for a couple of days anyways. No, I don't have a bike, but it was just as fun walking around talking to people and seeing all of the pretty bikes. I have never seen so many bikes in one spot in my life! Oh, and can I tell you it was WINDY! The wind kicked up the sand on the beach so much it looked like it was snowing.

I'm still on my Colin Firth kick too. Every single movie I rent seems to have him in it, even if I'm not looking for him in it. It is so crazy, he is everywhere. Eventually I'll run out of movies with him in it, right?

I'm really missing that extra hour of sleep right about now. Time for bed for me.

And for the fun of it:

So not a baby anymore.

It finally happened. That dreaded thunk. Baby K learned how to climb out of his crib. He is officially a toddler now.
