So I saw 27 dresses. Anybody else see it yet? It's totally predictable, but I loved it. It was sweet, great clothes, cute boys and made me smile. I even liked Katherine Heigel, and I don't like her acting. The whole movie made me want even more to find my 'true love.' I guess I should start doing something to find him like put on makeup and go to events targeted at people OVER the age of two...

Oh, and James Marsden is a hottie! Had to add that in there.



I also saw some guy driving down the road eating soup, with steam coming up from it! That has trouble written all over it.

Oh, and I got a haircut. I got these face framey things. For me, that's walking on the wild side!

I can't WAIT to try it out. Not only is it cute, but Baby K is a boy's boy and always spilling stuff or brining leaves and dirt in the car. Hopefully we can avoid any more sour milk smells...

About a month ago Baby K won a pair of Ethan Pediped shoes in a photo contest. They are so cute and pedipeds are so easy to put on. We got them in chocolate brown.

I went jogging with Baby K today. Running is hard enough, but when you are pushing a stroller too, boy does it wear you out! I think I will be sleeping well tonight. I have yet to find a jogger that fits nicely in my compact car though. Any suggestions? I have limited space in the house too, so the more compact when stored the better.

Tomorrow is another day. I have a feeling I'm going to be sore...

Down to Kokomo

I am so over working. I think it is because every vacation I have taken in the past year has been home, and that's fun, but not always a vacation, so I never have a change of scenery or real relaxation. I need a change of scenery where I can lay on a beach and drink a pina colada and not get out of bed until 10 and eat at some cool non-chain restaurant.

Of course I'm not really over working. I like working. I just need a vacation.

Today was the most uneventful day ever. I loved it!

What were the highlights?

1. Eat tons of oranges. Check.

2. Huge glass of milk spilled. Check.

3. Caught up on all my "news" from perez and i'm not obsessed. Check.

4. Read 'Dog' (kiddo book) about 20 times. Check.

5. Watch Bring It On. Check. (Hey, I have like 3 channels...there's only so much on)

My fingers are sore from peeling about 20 clemtine oranges. THose things are so yummy! Anybody else remember a few years ago when they weren't imported because of some bug or something? Baby K and I are glad they are back.

Baby, it's cold outside

I thoght I left all cold weather behind when I moved to Florida, but alas, that was not the case. Brrrr! Baby K and I have stayed in all day in our warm fleece pjs playing and reading books. The only time I've gone out today was to get the newspaper so I could clip coupons. Yes, it may be lazy and silly, but we are having a wonderful time. Well, except for the entire cup of milk that was spilled, but hey, it wouldn't be a complete day without something getting spilled.

Will it ever stop raining???

Seriously, it's been raining for like a day straight. I know we need rain, but this is a ton. I thought, hey, I'll go the mall! However, that's what everybody else thought too, and with a baby it's not worth it to drag him and all the gear half way accross the parking lot. So, back home we went. I suppose there are productive things I could be doing right now, but I'm enjoying laying on the couch curled up with my blanket and listening to the rain fall down down down.

Ramblings all the time

Stayed home today. Stupid migraine.

Yipee, my taxes are complete! That's the nice thing about not being rich...you get a refund!

Life took a turn this week. Growing up I never thought I would be in a position where someone else can interfere with my life so much that I cannot be me, but alas, it has happened despite my trying hard not to let them. Hopefully it will end and end soon.

That fits KP to a tee. We went in for our 18 month check up today. I can't believe he is so big now! When babies get weighed you have to strip them down. As I was taking off his diaper I was a little suprised at what I saw. Apparently he had been playing outside right before I picked him up from daycare and had stuffed not only dirt and sand down his diaper, but also leaves, sticks and pebbles! I said something, trying to not look totally stupid in front of the nurse. I just don't know how he just sat there, sitting on sticks and leaves and rocks and didn't cry at all. He is such a boy.

The best dog ever

I seriously have to give props to my dog, Riley. He takes a lot of crap from Baby K. Just what does he put up with? Babies in his food bowl, riding his back, shoving tennis balls and bones in his face, throwing food at him (I guess he kinda likes that one), stealing snuggling time with mommy...and Riely just deals with it and it just the best dog ever.

He has to put up with me too as seen in this photo. I just finished a scarf. Isn't it cute?

Resolutions

I don't know why I make them. I almost never keep them. However, mine are not the usual, loose 10 pounds (I don't have 10 pounds to loose!). Instead, here are my new year resolutions:

1. Be more assertive.
2. Not let the little things get me.
3. Eat more plain vegetables.
4. Buy a house.

Obviously some are more realistic than others. Check back in 2009 to see why I didn't do the things mentioned. haha!
